Below are pictures of my dogs, cat and tortoises. I have four Norwegian Buhunds (from left: Sophie, Kenzi, Grendel & Kiva), a Shiba Inu (on right: Kodi) and Mavis the Cat. I also have two Sulcata Tortoises that each weigh approximately 40lbs and don’t have names. If anyone has suggestions for names (besides The Slowski’s) I’d really appreciate it.

An update: Unfortunately, I lost one of the tortoises a few days after Thanksgiving of 2011. He’d been acting strangely for the cold season, which was probably an indicator that something was wrong. The remaining tortoise is weighing approximately 65 pounds and seems to be happy and healthy. I’ve read that they are not really social animals except during mating season. He should be just fine as the only tortoise in my household. I think I’ll call him Toddy. The deceased tortoise was named Todd, posthumously. by my friend Barb.
